Sailing classes offered for adults, youths

North Idaho College’s Outdoor Pursuits will offer a series of clinics in July to teach participants how to sail.

The clinics for adults will run in four sessions on the NIC beach. Clinics will be offered from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays through July 28; $40 covers the cost of instruction, boats and all related equipment.

In addition, a separate set of sailing clinics will be offered specifically for youths. The clinics will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays through July 30 on the NIC beach. Cost is $40.

No experience is necessary. Space is limited so sign up early to reserve a spot.
