CREATE seeking artwork
CREATE invites artists to submit work for its second annual “Go with the Flow” exhibit. “Rivers” is this year’s theme; works should be inspired by images or impressions of flowing waters.
Up to two pieces in any medium are welcome. Entry fee is $2 per artist.
Works should be delivered June 27 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to CREATE, 900 W. Fourth Street, Newport, Wash. They must be appropriately framed or mounted and ready to hang.
The exhibit will run July 1-29, with an opening reception July 1 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For more information, call (509) 447-9277.

Corbin Art Center, 507 W. Seventh Ave., is offering the following classes, sponsored by the city of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. Preregistration is required by calling 625-6200.
For children, beginning the week of June 27: Sand Art for ages 3-5, Monday-Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., $21; Drawing Media for ages 6-11, Monday-Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., $21; Craft Time for ages 3-5, Monday-Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m., $21; Clay Works for ages 6-11, Monday-Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m., $21; Creating Harmony for ages 3-5, Monday-Friday, 12:30-1:30 p.m., $21; Solar Fun for ages 6-11, Monday-Friday, 12:30-1:30 p.m., $21; Bugs! for ages 3-5, Monday-Friday, 1:30-2:30 p.m., $21; and Jewelry Making for ages 6-11, Monday-Friday, 1:30-2:30 p.m., $21.
