Sheriff seeks help solving Troy assault case

The Latah County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about an assault late last week in Troy, Idaho.
The victim, Craige W. Heilman, 26, of Troy, was in serious condition at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston on Monday evening, according to the hospital.
Sheriff’s officials believe Heilman was punched in an altercation in downtown Troy sometime Friday night or early Saturday.
Heilman suffered a traumatic head injury, requiring a ventilator to breathe, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call the office at (208) 882-2216.
