• Northwest Christian School honored recipients at its recent Academic Awards Ceremony.

The following seniors received Principal’s Awards: John Hauck, Washington Scholar-Alternate for 2005; Nicole Holland, Washington State Principals Scholars Program; Lacy Crowder, Washington State Principals Scholars Program; Allyson Turner, Washington State Principals Scholars Program; and Elizabeth Beaulieu, National Merit Scholarship letter of Commendation.

Seniors who placed during the American Mathematics Competition were recognized during the ceremony. They include: John Hauck, first place; Erik Helgeson, second place; and Elizabeth Beaulieu, third place.

Paul Harris took first place in the American Mathematics Competition for the 10th grade. He achieved the highest score in the school’s history for this competition.

The following students were named as Spokane Scholars: Lacy Crowder for English; Anna Harbine for fine arts; Garret MacDonald for social studies; Nicole Holland for foreign language; and John Hauck for math and science.
