These two adorable creatures are a pair of survivors. Their litter of three was discarded by the roadside and brought into shelter care. Bloody stool and vomiting led them to a vet, where they were diagnosed with parvovirus, a deadly disease to unvaccinated pups. The vet thought they could be saved, but only chocolate male, Rosco, and black female, Tweet, survived. They are strong enough to play again and will be out of quarantine with a clean bill of health the second week in March. Call River City Pet Rescue at 262-6098 for adoption information.
