Name: Jesse Suitter

Age: 20

Occupation: Jesse is a server’s assistant at Beverly’s Restaurant at the Coeur d’Alene Resort and also works as a barista at Borders. He is a full-time student at North Idaho College.

Hometown: Hayden, Idaho.

Family: Mom, Mary, who volunteers at Open Arms Pregnancy Center, and Dad, Mike, a real estate investor. His sister, Monica, 23, is working as a nurse in China and going to school, and his brother, Jake, 25, is traveling in Europe. Jake speaks German and French. Jesse also has a 15-year-old brother attending the Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy.

Hobbies: Reading (he is currently reading selections by Franz Kafka and Goethe), and “everything on a board,” to include snowboarding, longboarding and wakeboarding.

Jesse also loves to travel and has been to 16 countries, backpacking around. He lived in Germany for a while when he was 18 and spent last summer on Oahu, Hawaii.

Favorite color: Cobalt blue.

Favorite food: Anything with cilantro.

Favorite music: Indie pop and some punk.

Favorite movies: “The Spanish Department,” a French film, “Groundhog Day” and “Fight Club.”

Plans for spring break: Work a lot to save money for a trip to Asia in the fall. He wants to visit his sister in China and also go to Thailand, Vietnam and Japan.
