Fifth annual Classy Stuff Sale – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 First Ave. Items include antiques, coins, and baked goods with a percentage of the proceeds to go to The Wishing Star Foundation.
Gathering Place Powwow – Numerous drum circles, Native American food and arts and crafts vendors as well as more than 300 dancers from across North America will gather in the Christianson Gymnasium on the North Idaho College campus. Grand entry at 1 and 7 p.m. Information: 769-3365.

St. Patrick’s Concert – 7:30 p.m. at the Harding Family Center, 15th and Wallace. Arvid Lundin and Deep Roots will perform Celtic music, and there will be dancing, alcohol-free refreshments, a bake sale, children’s activities and a raffle. Suggested donation is $7 for adults. Information: 765-0716.

Sandpoint Vigil and Peace Walk – Event marking the second anniversary of the War in Iraq will be at noon at the Bonner County Courthouse, 127 S. First Ave. Activities include singing, vigils, demonstrations, and marches sponsored by the Sandpoint Friends Meeting (Quakers). March will eventually proceed across the Long Bridge. On Sunday the group will gather for demonstration at Farmin Park in Sandpoint at 2 p.m. and proceed to the free showing of The Fog of War at the Panida Theater at 4 p.m. A chili feed/potluck and discussion will follow the movie at the Community Center.
Audubon Society – Two-day overnight trip today and Sunday to the Wolf Education and Research Center in Winchester, Idaho, south of Lewiston. Please register with a leader ahead of time in order to make travel plans and because tour size is limited. $5 for the wolf tour. North Idaho College 35th annual Popcorn Forum Series – begins Monday with Congressman Butch Otter and U.S. Attorney for the State of Idaho, Thomas E. Moss, speaking at 10 a.m. on “The Patriot Act: National Security vs. Civil Liberties,” in Boswell Hall’s Schuler Auditorium. There will be a response panel in the Edminster Student Union Building from 1-2:30 p.m., then the Human Rights Banquet is a 6 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Inn. Information: 769-3300.
