Nets face elimination against Heat today
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — It might be the single-biggest question facing the New Jersey Nets:
What’s on Jason Kidd’s mind?
“We’re on the verge of getting swept, so we’re an eighth seed,” Kidd said Saturday when asked if he thought the Nets were better than a No. 8.
“No matter how you look at it, I don’t know how close we are to anything right now. We’re just trying to get a win.
“Putting stock in the future, I’ve done that many times and it’s crashed. So, there’s no reason to go with that. I have to worry about this afternoon and not so much what the future holds.”
The Nets play host to the Heat in Game 4 at 12:30 p.m. today (ABC) at the Meadowlands with Miami holding a 3-0 lead.
