Curtis Joseph made 26 saves and moved into a tie for eighth place on the NHL’s career wins list and Mike Comrie scored two goals in the Phoenix Coyotes’ 4-2 win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday in St. Paul, Minn.

Joseph tied Grant Fuhr with his 403rd career win. Ex-Edmonton star Fuhr is the Coyotes’ goalie coach.

Predators 3, Oilers 2: At Nashville, Tenn., Scott Hartnell scored with 22.5 seconds left and Tomas Vokoun stopped 31 shots to lead a win over Edmonton.

Avalanche 5, Sharks 2: At Denver, Pierre Turgeon became the 34th player in league history to reach 500 goals and Alex Tanguay scored twice, lifting Colorado over San Jose.

Flyers 4, Bruins 3 (OT): At Philadelphia, Joni Pitkanen scored the tying goal with 23.4 seconds left and added the winner 1:55 into overtime to give the Flyers a victory over Boston.

Islanders 4, Devils 1: At East Rutherford, N.J., Rick DiPietro made 25 saves and Shawn Bates had a goal and an assist to help New York past New Jersey.

Canadiens 3, Lightning 2: At Montreal, Jose Theodore stopped 32 shots and Richard Zednik scored midway through the third period, leading the Canadiens to a victory over Tampa Bay.

Maple Leafs 6, Capitals 4: At Toronto, the Maple Leafs scored four times in the final period to beat Washington.

The San Jose Sharks activated goaltender Evgeni Nabokov from injured reserve and put left wing Scott Thornton on IR. … Nashville Predators forward Scott Walker will miss up to 10 weeks after surgery for a sports hernia.
