T-C’s power play puts away Spokane
KENNEWICK – Shaun Vey had a goal and an assist as the Tri-City Americans downed the Spokane Chiefs 3-2 in Western Hockey League play on Saturday night at Toyota Center.
Tri-City took a 2-0 lead after one period on a pair of power-play goals, by McVey (at the 5:21 mark), and Alex Aldred (at 19:33).
Chris Bruton gave the Chiefs a goal at the 1:49 mark of the third. But Taylor Procyshen extended T-C’s lead to 3-1 at the 5:30 mark. Spokane’s Jeff Lynch had a short-handed goal with 9:26 left.
