Trojans strike twice in 4th
Dan Hamilton scored on a 9-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to lead Post Falls to a 12-0 victory over Mountain Home in a non-league game Friday night at Mountain Home, Idaho.
Derek Schniedmiller iced the victory for the Trojans (2-4), returning an interception 67 yards for the team’s second score.
In other non-league action, Kyle Efaw had 125 receiving yards and a touchdown and added an 8-yard touchdown run as Capital (3-3) defeated host Lewiston (4-2) 46-28.
“Heath Petersen ran for 230 yards and four touchdowns on just 14 carries and added a fifth score on a 65-yard reception to lead Wallace over visiting Post Falls Christian (3-2, 2-1) 52-7 in North Star League play. Justin Keener threw two touchdown passes and returned an interception for a third score for the Miners (4-2, 2-1) before the game was called at halftime. … Mike Martin threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns to Kyle Ruen as Clark Fork defeated Kootenai 32-14 at Harrison. Johnson Field, it was Davenport’s Luke Rodenbough – twice. First, Rodenbough raced 54 yards to give the Gorillas the lead with less than 2 minutes left. Then, he intercepted a pass in Davenport’s end zone to preserve the fourth-ranked Gorillas’ 29-22 win. Rodenbough gained 212 total yards, including 20 carries for 156 yards.
