Send us your pumpkins

Get your orange crayons out.

Well, actually you can use any color you want to turn the pumpkin on this page into your personal work of art.

If you are 10 years or younger, decorate the pumpkin any way you like – use paint, crayons, pens, markers, glitter, macaroni, whatever works for you, then get your paper Jack-o’-lantern down to us here at the paper before Thursday at 4 p.m.

Our design staff will judge the pumpkins and select winners in these age categories:

Up to 4 years old, 5-7 years old, and 8-10 years old.

Winning pumpkins will be in the paper on Halloween.

Send entries to Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Features Dept., P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210. Please put your name, age, town and an adult’s phone number on your pumpkin so we can get ahold of you.
