Pullman football (1-0) hosts Oregon 3A school La Grande on Friday. La Grande made the state playoffs last season, but the Greyhounds have shown they can easily handle a larger school, demolishing Washington’s 3A Hazen of Renton 40-7 last week. Lakeside (0-1) gets back to playing a school its size, Kellogg, after Shadle Park outgained it only 267-198 during a 21-7 opener. Nine penalties and three lost fumbles kept the Eagles from springing the upset over a GSL opponent.
