O’Reilly sets mark
Mt. Spokane distance star Megan O’Reilly set a meet record in the high school girls 3,000 meters Friday during the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif.
O’Reilly ran 9 minutes, 29.18 seconds to win by more than 17 seconds and break the record of 9:30.21 set in 2001.

Ryan Richardson pitched the distance for the Indians (3-3), striking out six. … Andrew Kittredge hit 3 for 3 with four runs and four RBIs, including a homer in the sixth inning, as Ferris routed host Cheney (0-6) 15-5 in six innings.
