Luncheon will support Lutheran nonprofit
Enjoy a spring luncheon for professional women on Wednesday and benefit Lutheran Community Services Northwest.
The event, hosted by Women of Spokane for Community, Justice and Success, will be in the Gilkey Room at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, 2316 First Ave., from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The event will feature guest speaker Rebecca Nappi, columnist for The Spokesman-Review.
Lutheran Community Services Northwest is a nonprofit human services agency that provides a wide variety of services to the community, including adoption service, foster care, teen pregnancy prevention, violence prevention and counseling, youth asset development, disaster response, and alcohol and drug treatment and education.

Fashion and food for kids
The Daughters of the Nile, El Karnak Temple No. 6, Philanthropic Committee will host “A Magic Moment Style Show” and luncheon in the ballroom at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park on April 27.
The event begins with lunch at noon.
Fashions for the show will be provided by Macy’s, and all proceeds will benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Tickets are $30 and must be purchased by April 24.
