Kris Christensen has been hired at the March of Dimes Northwest Division as communications and program services coordinator. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing from Eastern Washington University.

Leila Owen has been hired as a sales associate at Tomlinson Black Valley.

Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates has hired Connie Ross as a real estate agent. She previously owned and operated Ponderosa Care Center.

Donna Frame has been hired as a sales associate at Tomlinson Black Valley.

The Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Dayna Chisum as a sales associate. She previously worked as a sales associate at Tomlinson Black Valley.

Nathan Kracht has been hired as a real estate agent at Exit Real Estate. He previously worked in the customer service industry.

Inland Imaging Associates has hired Dr. John Uglietta as a diagnostic radiologist. He is a 1984 graduate of Georgetown University, completed an internship at Duke University Medical Center and a residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Uglietta has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Dr. Alexander Bullock has been hired at Internal Medicine Faculty Hospitalists and is practicing internal medicine. He is a 1998 graduate of the University of Utah, completed an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital and his residency at Providence St. Vincent Hospital. Bullock has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

BDO Seidman has hired Jennie Pirtle as an assurance associate. She has 10 years of private accounting experience and is holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University.

PROMOTED

Barry Brooks has been promoted to program manager of the business graduate department on the Spokane campus of the University of Phoenix. He previously worked as a business instructor and holds a doctorate in organizational psychology.

Monte Chitwood has been promoted to vice president, financial consultant at D.A. Davidson & Co.

Frankie Arteaga has been hired as area director for the Employment Security Department of Spokane County. Arteaga has been with the department for 18 years.

Ralph Noyes has been promoted to second vice president of wealth management at Smith Barney. Noyes has been with the company for six years and holds post-graduate degrees from the University of Michigan and the Wharton School of Business.

KUDOS

Debra French has received the “Reach for the Stars” award from Sodexho USA. French is the dining room manager at Rockwood Retirement Communities and received this award for providing outstanding service.

Beth Lindow has been recognized as the 2005 Employee of the Year by Spokane Federal Credit Union. Lindow works in the credit union’s phone center.

Potlatch Corp. has received the Idaho GEMStars award for environmental performance. The corporation received this award from Idaho Gov. Dirk Kempthorne.

Terry Stanaway has been inducted into the 2005 Pinnacle Club of Holiday Stationstores. Stanaway is the store manager of the Spokane Holiday Stationstore.

ELECTED/APPOINTED

The Inland Northwest Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association has elected members to its board of directors. They are: president, Jim Morrison of Garco Construction; vice president, Colin Thompson of City Electric; secretary, Kelli Franco of Moss Adams; treasurer, Dave Schafer of Dix Corp., past president, Hube Langenhorst of Langenhorst Norwood and Hopkins; and directors Doug Bennyhoff of SAFECO Sureties; Fred Bonser of LL Cargile Construction; Scott McGann of Payne Financial Group; Denny Rucker of Levernier Construction; Joe Schroeder of Goebel Construction; and Fran Wills of Meidling Concrete.

John Mark of Dorian Studio has been elected as president of the Professional School Photographers Association International.

United Way of Spokane County has elected directors to one-year terms. They are: Pat Moseley of the American Red Cross and Divya Vishwanath, a high school student at St. George’s School.

The Spokane Neighborhood Economic Development Alliance has elected officers for its board of directors. They are: president, Rob Daugherty; vice president, Loren Dixon, secretary/treasurer, Jean Farmer; and new members Anne Marie Axworthy and Richard Freeman.

The North Pacific Surgical Association has elected Dr. Gregory Luna as president. Luna works for Inland Vascular Institute.
