Wednesday’s results: American League
Athletics 6, Rangers 4 (10): At Arlington, Texas, Kevin Mench hit a grand slam to set a Rangers record by homering in his sixth straight game, but Francisco Cordero blew another save and Jay Payton hit a two-run single in the 10th inning that gave Oakland a victory.
