Coeur d’Alene police

Andrew Willis reported Wednesday the $900 theft of compact discs and a handgun from his 1995 Nissan van parked on the 600 block of West Hubbard Avenue.

Naomi Lavers reported Wednesday the $2,300 theft of a laptop computer from her home on the 1400 block of North Sixth Street.

Kootenai County sheriff

Steven Hazelton, Coeur d’Alene, reported Tuesday the $1,050 theft of a cell phone and compact discs from his 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier parked at the intersection of Ross Point Road and Maplewood Drive in Post Falls.

Lesli Schmehl, Post Falls, reported Wednesday $900 damage to fenders of a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta parked at a home on the 9200 block of North Great Hall Drive in Hayden.
