Magic remain hot on road, down Kings

Jameer Nelson hit a 3-pointer with 1.7 seconds left, and the Orlando Magic snapped an 11-game losing streak in Sacramento with a 92-89 victory over the Kings on Monday night in Sacramento, Calif.

Dwight Howard had 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Magic, who won for the seventh time in eight games. It was the Eastern Conference leaders’ fifth stop on a six-game road trip, its longest of the season.

Wizards 106, Mavericks 97: At Washington, Gilbert Arenas had 38 points and eight assists as Washington ended Dallas’ 12-game winning streak.

All five of Washington’s starters scored in double figures.

Spurs 129, Warriors 89: At San Antonio, Brent Barry scored 18 points as San Antonio routed Golden State.

Beno Udrih scored a season-high 16 points for San Antonio.

Bulls 100, Celtics 82: At Chicago, Andres Nocioni scored 20 points, and Chicago won its fifth straight, pulling away early on the way to a victory over Boston.

The Bulls led by as many as 30 in the third quarter.

Knicks 98, Grizzlies 90: At New York, Eddy Curry scored 26 points and New York beat Memphis for just its second home victory of the season.

Quentin Richardson also had 20 points for the Knicks.

Jazz 101, Bucks 88: At Salt Lake City, Carlos Boozer had 30 points and 13 rebounds and Utah’s Jerry Sloan got his 999th coaching win.

Mehmet Okur scored 17 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.

Lakers 101, Pacers 87: At Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant scored 21 points before leaving with a sprained ankle, and Pacific Division-leading Los Angeles beat Indiana.

Bryant came back to the bench a couple minutes later, but didn’t return to the game.
