Eastern Washington goes for its second road win tonight, taking on Santa Clara and former Eagle point guard Danny Pariseau.

EWU (5-4) rolled past Portland 87-66 on Saturday behind Rodney Stuckey’s stellar all-around play and solid contributions from all 10 players but beating the Broncos (6-3) will be a tall task.

Three of the top five scorers for the Broncos are at least 6-foot-10 and the team is 4-1 at the Leavey Center. The lone loss was 78-70 to nationally-ranked Nevada.

The leading scorer is 6-foot-10 Sean Denison at 11.2 points a game and he grabs 5.8 rebounds. John Bryant, a 6-10 sophomore, scores 8.6 points and is the leading rebounder at 6.1 Seven footer Josh Higgins comes off the bench for 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds.

Pariseau had 20 points and five assists as the Broncos handed Pacific its worst home loss in 15 years, 67-49, Saturday night. He is second on the team in scoring at 10.6 and second in assists at 3.9. He has 35 assists and 19 turnovers.

“They are very big, very physical and very well coached,” EWU head coach Mike Burns said. “They are very tough to beat at home and will be a big challenge for us.”
