Lowly Bobcats scorched by red-hot Suns

Amare Stoudemire had 22 points and 12 rebounds to help the Phoenix Suns win their 10th consecutive game, 114-84 over the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday.

Stoudemire had his seventh double-double in eight games, Boris Diaw added 17 points, Leandro Barbosa had 15, and Shawn Marion and Raja Bell had 14 each. Steve Nash had 11 points and 10 assists.

Sean May scored a career-high 26 points for the Bobcats, who suffered their third straight loss, all by 20 or more points. Raymond Felton added 14 points, and Emeka Okafor and Matt Carroll had 12 each.

Bobcats rookie Adam Morrison’s shooting woes continued Sunday. He scored three points on 1-of-8 shooting, and has gone 4 of 34 in his last four games.

Trail Blazers 93, Raptors 83: At Toronto, Jarrett Jack had 22 points, a career-high nine rebounds and eight assists and Portland won without suspended forward Zach Randolph, over Toronto.

Martell Webster added 22 points and eight rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

Toronto was playing without All-Star Chris Bosh (bruised left knee). Andrea Bargnani, the No. 1 pick in the draft, replaced Bosh and had eight points and three rebounds in his first start.

Morris Peterson had 23 points for the Raptors.

Kings 117, Hawks 92: At Sacramento, Calif., Brad Miller scored a season-high 19 points and Sacramento snapped a five-game losing steak with a win over Atlanta.

Corliss Williamson scored a season-high 18 points and Mike Bibby had 16 points for the Kings. John Salmons and Kevin Martin had 14 points each, and Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 11.

Salim Stoudamire scored a season-high 26 points for Atlanta. Solomon Jones added 14 points.

Lakers 106, Spurs 99: Los Angeles, Kobe Bryant had 32 points and eight rebounds, Lamar Odom just missed a triple-double, and Los Angeles beat San Antonio.

Odom had 18 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, and Luke Walton added 17 points for the Lakers.

Manu Ginobili came off the bench to lead the Spurs with 23 points. Tony Parker added 21 points and nine assists, Tim Duncan had 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Bruce Bowen scored 16 before fouling out with 21 seconds left.
