Missy Mitidiero scored 13 points in a reserve role to help No. 17 DePaul win its eighth straight game, 81-57 over Detroit on Friday night in Detroit.

Erin Cattell hit a 3-pointer midway through the first half to spark a 15-3 run that gave the Blue Demons (8-1) the lead for good. DePaul led 34-25 at the half and put the game away with a 12-4 spurt to open the second half.

Mitidiero had 10 points during the second-half streak. Erin Carney and Jenna Rubino each finished with 12 points and Caprice Smith and Samantha Quigley scored 10 apiece.
