Kia Gibson scored 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, guiding Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) to a 52-50 non-league win over visiting Lakeland on Saturday.

Kelli Tikker added 12 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Eagles (4-1).

Camille Reynolds scored 20 points and Natalie Nichols chipped in with 16 for the Hawks (4-5).

In other non-league action, Nikki Nelson scored 18 points and dished out seven assists as Chewelah topped host Valley Christian 67-29. Kelsey Schalock added 11 points and six assists for the Cougars (6-0), who outscored the Panthers 32-6 in the second quarter to take a 46-12 lead into halftime. Katie Worley scored a team-high 10 points for Valley Christian (0-7). … Jennesa Miller scored 15 points and Megan McIntyre added 13 as Freeman cruised to an easy 65-21 win over host Lake Roosevelt at Coulee Dam. Carley Heinen added 11 points for the Scotties (6-1), who outscored Lake Roosevelt 25-4 in the first quarter. … Meagan Teade scored 13 points and Lauren Mellor added 12 as Colfax topped visiting Columbia (Burbank) 60-46. Misty Atkinson scored 19 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Clarkston to a 47-31 win over visiting Cheney. Jaimie Berghammer added 10 points for the Bantams (4-2, 1-0), who outscored the Blackhawks 11-4 in the first quarter. Kyle Miller scored 13 points to lead Cheney (1-2, 0-1).

Ky Lee Schmunk scored 13 points as Lind-Ritzville beat visiting Almira/Coulee-Hartline 45-29. The Broncos (4-2, 3-2) outscored the Warriors 26-8 in the first half.
