North Spokane

1504 E. Olympic Ave.: Blow-up Grinch, snowman, reindeer and Santa, nativity scene, lots of plastic decor, moving display in the window.

323 W. Barnes Road: This house is amazing! With a nativity, music, snowmen, deer, and a Santa Claus.

2423 E. Bismark: Nativity scene with star on roof, lighthouse, numerous figurines. (Even SpongeBob is there!)

1308 E. Olympic: Blow-up Grinch, Snoopy and Santa, Reindeer, Snowmen and Nativity Scene

323 W. Barnes Road: Nativity, music, deer, snowmen, Santa Claus and much much more!

3614 W. Beacon: Animated jumping fish, animated penguin fishing, ice pond with skating penguins, Rudolph, abominable snowman, angels, stars, squirrel in maple tree and a snow bunny.

6108 N. Cook St.: Something for everyone, animation, blowups, Santas, snowmen, elves, you name it! Lights everywhere.

12023 N. Dakota Lane: West Glen Subdivision – If you want holiday cheer, then this is the house to come to! This guy has done it up! There’s even Santa’s sleigh suspended in the air for all to see. Lots of time and care went into this display! People drive by every night to check this out … Go on by!

15307 N. Wilson Court: Beautiful display with lights flashing to the accompanying Christmas music. Really unusual and fun for both kids and adults. Roll down your car windows and listen to get the full effect.

9013 N. Pamela: Merry-go-round globe, see-saw Santa, palm trees, ice-block snowmen.

418 E. Liberty Ave.: Mostly homemade, almost life size Santa, sleigh and eight reindeer; also carolers, snowmen, penguin, lights on house, elves decorating tree, stars on roof.

11800 block of N. Bedivere Drive: There are several houses together on this block in a row with beautiful lights. One has a Ferris wheel, one has carolers, with park benches, several nativities. It appears that all the houses worked together to color-coordinate their displays.

2624 W. Glass Ave.: Snowmen, Santa, and candy canes.

7020 N. Calispel St.: ‘Twas two weeks before Christmas, and all through our street something was stirring, and Santa’s here with a treat. The lights were all hung by the gutters with care, in hopes that some passers-by soon would be there. With the lights all aglow, the drivers all know. The warmth of the festivities were set for the show. The driveway is lined with tiny snowmen. The manger is lit, with the three wise men. There’s over 15,000 lights and so much more. The music is charming, the scene is complete. Come by our house. We promise it’s neat!

1317 W. Decatur Ave.: We have our own Candyland with 3500 lights, Complete with a gingerbread house and people, and assorted candies.

12023 N. Dakota Lane: Classic! Especially in a “Griswold” kind of way! Come by and see for yourself!

1508 W. Glass Ave.: Big, two houses.

9222 N. Whitehouse: Lights everywhere; corner lot, reindeer, snowmen, lighted flag pole, music, and lights galore!

328 W. Park Place: I have lights that are synchronized to five different Christmas songs. You can listen to the music by tuning your car radio to an FM radio station when you get near my house. I have a sign in the front yard that tells you the FM station to tune your radio to if you want to hear the music.

14617 E. Piper Road: Country Gingerbread Home: Our home in the Mount Spokane foothills is decorated in a gingerbread house theme with over 14,000 lights on the property, including lighted driveway arches to greet visitors, Santa and his reindeer on the roof, and animated deer. The display runs to Jan. 1 from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. nightly. A donation bin for the food bank is at the driveway entrance.

Hastings Road and Standard Avenue: West Glen development has several homes decorated this year. It is a big loop - so holiday light lookers could see several really nice homes lit up. East off of Division, on Farwell Avenue - take a left onto Standard Avenue. It then turns into Metler or Dakota Street depending on which way you turn.

832 E. Brierwood: We have a ton of spiral trees, reindeer, snowflakes and Disney cutout characters. It is a neighborhood favorite!

6421 N. Whitehouse: Candy cane arch, 9-foot-tall tall carousel, silent night banner and other misc. Cute Santa and reindeer on bikes!

700 block of E. Blackhawk Drive, Colbert: Blackhawk Development - As a neighborhood, one of the most decorated areas in all of Spokane. Over 50 homes done in holiday splendor.

417 E Silver Pines Court, Colbert: 395 to Hatch, North past Midway School, left on Silver Pines. Trees of lights, a flowing river, deer, a nativity and a cross. Add Santa and Mrs. Claus a giant bear, reindeer and a snowman. A very nice display.

500 block of E. Pine Needle Ave., Colbert: Two wonderful houses on the same block. Both with tons of lights, including a helicopter from a basketball hoop!

30616 N. Perry Road, Deer Park: Beautiful display on acreage with an elegant combination of spiral trees scattered in groves throughout the property and colored minilights on spruce trees. There is also a display at the entry gate consisting of icicle lights, lighted packages and spiral trees. There must be at lease 15,000 lights! The display has great depth.

South Spokane

4235 E. 37th: House with peaks all decorated, deer, trees, lighted train with lighted arbor and more.

2806 E. 17th: Amazing

4104 S. Conklin St.: Our friends, Lonnie and Judy Fosback, have their yard, outside of the house, garage and everything around the house decorated in high style. Please check it out. It’s a “winter wonderland.” Kids love it.

3107 S. Glenrose Road: Over 28,000 lights synchronized by computer to music featuring Dominick the singing donkey and Porky the singing dancing pig.

Southeast Boulevard and 17th Avenue: Lights, inflatables, Mickey Mouse … kid-friendly and cute

1514 S. Perry St.: Beautiful house, beautifully decorated. Lights. Garland.

Rockwood Blvd. and Christmas Tree Lane: Lights and more inflatable figures than you can shake a cane at.

423 W. 15th: Christmas comes to 15th Avenue, where over 3000 lights illuminate this 1909 Craftsman. Tastefully adorned while maintaining the “Vegas WOW Factor,” this display is must-see for all the kids and the young at heart.

3525 W. Second Ave.: Located at the end of cul-de-sac, this house has the largest inflatable Santa I’ve ever seen along with a funny looking Santa that climbs up and down their chimney, tons of lights, candles in all the windows of the large two-story house, lots of candy canes, a nativity, several Christmas trees, and the best part is they have a large round dome-shaped structure attached to the home that’s decorated to look like a giant igloo complete with polar bears. If you roll down your window, you usually can hear outdoor Christmas music.

Spokane Valley

519 S. McDonald: Over 10,000 lights. Mr. and Mrs. Claus kissing, soldiers, Santa and reindeer on the roof, elves, candy canes and much more. All decorations are handmade, with the whole family getting involved.

25311 E. Broad Ave: Gingerbread life size.

220 N. Best Road: 15,000 lights, over 80 pieces of yard art, seven inflatables, a herd of deer, penguins, Dalmatians, snowmen, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Bob the Builder, Nemo, Scooby and more. Back fence on Main has nativity wall scene and military tribute with soldier praying over fallen soldier.

7312 E 10th Ave.: Four or more inflatables, about 12 deer, maybe more, carousel, Santas, candy cane lights around yard. Standout in neighborhood, lots of other houses around it are decorated also.

E. 16th Ave. and S. Keller Road: (between McDonald and Evergreen) Almost all of this street is really lit up … you have to see it to believe it!

8509 E. South Riverway Ave.: Millwood area: All wood displays are hand cut and hand painted by the owners. Each year they make a new one and then flood them with lights

5027 Hillcrest Lane: Animated display runs three minutes every half-hour. Music score can be heard over FM radio. Can be seen and heard from Highway 27. Thousands of lights in an animated presentation set to TSO’s “Wizards in Winter.” Including a moving 30-foot tree of lights. Best viewed from Bella Vista Drive.

Trent and Best: Huge house a lot of lights next to a car wash.

4213 N. Best Road: Reindeer (snowman will work for freezer space) 50,000 lights, church choir, Santa, tons of stuff. The old man Joe is 74 years old, just retired last year; plus he is the longest employee at the fair. He spends all year on this and is already working on next year’s stuff.

North Idaho

415 S. Glenwood Drive: Enchanting 30 minutes of dancing lights synchronized to a festive array of holiday tunes.

2537 N. Ivy Lane: A tasteful display of Christmas festivities. Manger, candy cane tree, gingerbread train, you name it he has it all. Something to please everyone’s eye!
