Name: A.J. Haynes

Age: 21

Hometown: La Canada, Calif.; lived in the area since 1992, Post Falls for four months.

Occupation: Professional wakeboarder. During the summer I teach wakeboarding at the Gozzer Ranch Resort, and during the winter I’m a salesman for Loulou’s Moose Camp Sports Shop in Coeur d’Alene.

Family: My mom and dad, sister, girlfriend.

Hobbies: Snowboarding, race cars, camping and Frisbee golf.

What do you like about North Idaho? I like the four seasons. There’s always something to do, no matter what the season.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? Spring and fall are kind of the “dead” seasons between snowboarding and wakeboarding.

Favorite music: ‘80s rock

Favorite TV show: “Becker”

Favorite movie: “Top Gun”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? It’s in the middle of Hayden Lake about Sept. 10, sunny, with no wind and no audience but my dad in a boat and me on a wakeboard. I’m happiest there.
