Rivalries revived.

That’s the result of being part of the BracketBuster pool for the Eastern Washington and Idaho men’s basketball teams.

Eastern is headed to Cal State Fullerton and Idaho is going to Montana State on Feb. 18. The EWU game is set for 2:05 p.m. The Vandals’ game time has not been set.

Fullerton swept the Eagles in a two-year, home-and-home series that ended last year.

MSU and Idaho are old Big Sky Conference rivals, with the Bobcats holding a 55-44 edge in the all-time series. The Vandals left the BSC in 1996 and are in their first year in the Western Athletic Conference.

BracketBusters, presented by eBay, puts together 50 games after lining up 100 schools from 18 conferences. The various ESPN networks are televising 13 games and those pairings were announced on Monday. Only the games selected for television are considered part of the official BracketBuster series.
