WSU lands Peterson
Washington State University will hire Greg Peterson, a longtime assistant football coach at Kansas State, to replace Robin Pflugrad, multiple sources confirmed Wednesday.
Peterson, 45, had been at Kansas State under Bill Snyder from 1994-2005, spending two years as the running backs coach and wide receivers coach at Idaho before that. Peterson primarily coached wide receivers for the Wildcats, but he also served as a passing game coordinator, co-offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator in shorter stints.
He will most likely join the Cougars as a recruiting coordinator and tight ends coach.
