Dodgen-Auer, Atkinson boost Clarkston

Patsy Dodgen-Auer scored 18 points and Misty Atkinson 23 as Clarkston edged host North Central 56-49 in a Greater Spokane League game on Saturday.

The Bantams (7-4, 3-1), who shot 54 percent from the free-throw line, moved into a tie for second place in the GSL.

The Indians (3-8, 1-3) got 14 points and four assists from Ashlee Michelson and 12 points from Alie Hansen.

Richelle Daily scored 26 points and Medical Lake routed host Colville 56-28 in a Great Northern League game. The Cardinals (7-3, 1-2) held the Indians (0-11, 0-4) to fewer than 10 points in the final three quarters. Jordan Emmil and Erica Lent each scored eight points for Colville. … Pullman held Deer Park to 16 second-half points in a 60-37 victory at Pullman. Kelli Davis tallied 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Greyhounds (9-3, 4-0), and Jamie Thornton added 12 points. Megan Roberts paced the Stags (7-4, 1-2) with 12 points.

Shawn Hennessey scored 17 of her 23 points in the second quarter and dished out five assists to lead Liberty to a 73-63 home win over Reardan in a Bi-County League matchup. Cami Bullock had 21 points and 15 rebounds, and Laura Davis chipped in another 16 for the Lancers (10-1, 9-1). Jen Christianson tallied 26 points, six rebounds and five steals for the Indians (5-7, 4-6), who also got 16 points from Ashtin Jeney and 11 from Brook Ferderer. … Northwest Christian needed 21 points from Krystal Pitkonen and 14 from Meagan Lindquist to top Lind-Ritzville 50-42 in Ritzville. The Broncos (3-9, 3-7) managed only 11 points in the middle two quarters, and the Crusaders (5-7, 4-6) held a 16-2 advantage in free throws made. Jenna Kragt led the Broncos with 10 points. … Odessa trailed by 15 points in the second quarter but outscored Almira/Coulee-Hartline 34-8 in the second half to claim a 51-35 win in Odessa. Andrea Kuch scored 10 of her game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter, and Jordan Frederick added 13 for the victorious Tigers (7-5, 5-5). Dani Butler led the Warriors (0-10, 0-9) with 15 points. … Wilbur-Creston had four players score more than 10 points and the Wildcats topped Valley Christian 49-39 in Wilbur. Zenda Reidt led the Wildcats (8-3, 7-2) with 13 points, Maddisen Peterson added 12 and Ashley Warnecke and Kaitlyn Reidt each scored 10. Kassey Miller topped the Panthers (1-11, 1-9) with 12 points. W-C held a 20-11 edge in turnovers and outrebounded VC 34-25. … A 30-2 second-half run propelled undefeated Sprague-Harrington to a 60-36 win over Davenport in Harrington. Stacie Shields put up 18 points for the Falcons (12-0, 10-0), including 11 during the run. Roni Jo Mielke added 15 points for Sprague-Harrington, and Natalie Deking chipped in with 14. Darci Dehn led the Gorrillas (8-4, 6-4) with 10 points, but Davenport suffered through a two-point third quarter.

•Colton had three players with double-doubles and edged visiting St. John-Endicott 59-55 at home in a Whitman County League game. Alyssa Moehrle recorded 19 points and 11 rebounds, Courtney Druffel had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Sammie Druffel added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats (9-4, 4-3). Sydney Gossard led all scorers with 21 points for the Eagles (11-3, 6-1), who lost their first league game. … Tekoa-Oaksdale jumped out to a 35-16 halftime lead then cruised to a 76-28 win over visiting Asotin. Kristine Faunce led the Nighthawks (9-4, 5-2) with 13 points, and Jessica DeGon added 12 on 4-of-6 3-point shooting. TO held a 25-4 edge in free throws made. Amanda Barnes led the Panthers (1-13, 0-7) with 16 points. … Karla (16) and Alyssa Koller (12) combined for 28 points in a 49-33 LaCrosse-Washtucna win over Garfield-Palouse in Washtucna. The Tigercats (10-4, 6-1) held all Garfield-Palouse players under 10 points and limited the Vikings to 11 points in the first and third quarters. Michelle Smith led the Vikings (4-9, 2-5) with nine points.

•St. Michael’s second-half rally fell short, and host Columbia used three double-digit scorers to win 46-44 in a Panorama League game. Christy Dashiell paced the Lions (2-9, 2-6) with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Jaysana Kremmerer added 13 points and Samantha Montgomery 10. Megan Vogel scored 17 points to lead the Warriors (4-10, 0-8), who trailed 23-11 at halftime. … Curlew outscored Cusick 16-6 in the final quarter en route to a 45-36 victory in Curlew. Nicole Miller led the Cougars (11-2, 8-1) with 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Mackenzie Wilson added 12 points. Amanda Smith scored 18 points and pulled down 15 rebounds for the Panthers (9-4, 5-2). … Jamie Covington scored four of her six points in the final two minutes to seal Wellpinit’s 56-50 win over visiting St. George’s. Samantha Flett had 18 points and eight rebounds, and Chanel Ford contributed 12 points, eight assists and six steals for the Redskins (11-2, 7-1). Titi Ala led all scorers with 28 for the Dragons (9-3, 5-2). … Republic allowed just three points, all free throws, in the fourth quarter to rally from a seven-point deficit and defeat visiting Selkirk 37-30. Sarah Knapton scored five of her 14 points in the fourth to pace the Tigers (6-7, 3-5), and Maria Villages led the Rangers (4-9, 2-5) with eight points. … Springdale had four double-digit scorers, led by Amanda Krieg’s 16, in a 70-41 route over visiting Northport. Stephanie Sulgrove (14), Baylei Stricker (11) and Sara Taulaki (10) also hit double-figures for the Chargers (6-5, 4-3). Katrina Goodwin led all scorers with 26 points for the Mustangs (1-11, 0-8), who were unable to manage more than 12 points in any quarter.

Jochelle Schatz scored 13 of her 22 points in the first half and Amanda Whitley added 18 as the Chewelah Cougars (7-4) topped Newport 68-42 in a non-league game at Newport. Maria Barranco led the Grizzlies (3-9) with 15 points, but Newport was unable to catch up after being outscored 22-5 in the second quarter. … Colfax did not allow a double-digit scorer in its 52-23 win over DeSales. Meagan Teade scored 14 points and grabbed four steals for the Bulldogs (11-3), who did not allow 10 points in any quarter.

•Lake Roosevelt edged host Okanogan 49-40 in a Caribou Trail League game. Jessica Loe paced the Raiders with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Kelly and Nadine Downy chipped in 18 and 10 points respectively for Okanogan.
