Real estate firm plans expansion

One of North Idaho’s largest real estate firms is expanding into Liberty Lake.

Century 21 Beutler & Associates will start construction next month on a 10,000-square-foot office building at 1328 N. Whitman Lane. The office, built by Baker Construction of Spokane, will have room for 40 to 50 agents.

Liberty Lake’s rapid growth makes the area attractive for expansion, said John Beutler, owner of Century 21 Beutler & Associates. Several of his agents already work primarily in Washington. Many clients want to look to look at homes in both Washington and Idaho, Beutler said.

“It’s amazing how close that area is,” he said of Liberty Lake. The new office there will be 10-mile drive to Century 21’s Post Falls’ office, which opened two years ago.

About 130 agents work for Century 21 Beutler & Associates.

Aug. 1 is the targeted opening date for the Liberty Lake office. The company’s long-term plans include an office in Spokane Valley as well, Beutler said.
