Health-care Provider CPR-Renewal – For current health-care provider cardholders who wish to renew their status, Thursday from 7:45 a.m.-noon at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, 711 S. Cowley. Baby-sitting Basics – For 10- to 15-year-old boys and girls, this class will discuss the responsibilities of parents and sitter, safety and first aid, infant and child CPR and discipline issues, Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Deaconess Health and Education Center, 800 W. Prepared Childbirth – For expectant parents in the last trimester of pregnancy, this five-week class will discuss the stages and management of labor, breathing techniques the role of the partner/support person and care after birth, Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning next Tuesday through Aug. 22 at Sacred Heart Medical Center, 101 W.
