Sandpoint firm moves workers to Spokane
Healthcare Resource Group, based in Sandpoint, is moving 55 workers from its Post Falls office to Spokane Valley.
The company, which was founded in 1994, provides services such as billing and temporary staffing for hospitals and medical centers.
Its headquarters will remain in Sandpoint, Chief Financial Officer Kristina English said Thursday.
Healthcare Resource Group is relocating and expanding its hospital-account and billing-management group, the company said in a press release. “We’re bursting at the seams” in the Post Falls site, English said.
Another reason to move is closer access to a larger work force, she said.
About 35 percent of the company’s business is in the Northwest. Nationwide, it has about 180 hospital and medical-group clients. Healthcare Resource Group has seen 60 percent growth over the past three years with annual revenues in excess of $10 million, English said. English said the company will hire about 50 new account representatives at its new location in the Pinecroft Business Park, along Mirabeau Parkway.
The press release said Healthcare Resource Group sees its Spokane site expanding eventually to 175 workers. A year ago, the company also converted to an ESOP — an employee-owned company. Full vesting is offered to company workers who remain employed for five years.
