Mets 9, Reds 2: Steve Trachsel pitched six effective innings and hit the third home run of his career to help New York beat visiting Cincinnati. Xavier Nady hit a two-run homer in the seventh and a solo drive in the eighth, and Carlos Delgado added a two-run shot.
