Timothy Norman has been hired as a systems analyst at Global Credit Union. He previously worked as facilities manager at Fort Sherman Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Idaho.
Empire Health Services has hired John Gilchrist as vice president of the Deaconess and Valley Foundation for Healthcare. He has over 19 years of healthcare management experience and previously worked as the chief development officer at Lourdes Health Network in Pasco.
Brent Wise has been hired at Farmers & Merchants Bank as a business banker. He previously worked as a senior account executive in the Tri-Cities.

Ezra Eckhardt has been promoted to executive vice president of Sterling Savings Bank. He began working for the bank as a senior vice president and corporate technical services manager in Aug. 2004 and holds a master’s of business administration degree from Gonzaga University.

Novell Inc. has donated $8,235 of software to the Excelsior Youth Center.
Yoke’s Fresh Markets donated 5 percent of its sales Feb. 21 to the Inland Northwest Multiple Sclerosis Chapter during its “Shop for Hope” campaign. The amount donated was around $27,000.
Numerica Credit Union raised $6,500 at the 2006 Big Brother’s and Big Sister’s Bowl-For-Kids-Sake fundraiser.
