Mets 13, Phillies 4: At Philadelphia, Tom Glavine pitched seven innings and drove in two runs to help New York snap the Phillies’ nine-game winning streak.

Cubs 8, Giants 1: At San Francisco, Jacque Jones had four RBIs as Chicago ended an eight-game losing streak and kept Barry Bonds at 713 career homers.

Dodgers 9, Astros 6: At Los Angeles, Brett Tomko allowed one infield hit over six innings, and Jeff Kent and Rafael Furcal hit three-run homers as the Dodgers handed Houston its sixth straight loss.

Padres 3, Brewers 0: At San Diego, Josh Bard’s two-run double led the Padres past Milwaukee for their 10th win in 11 games.

Marlins 11, Braves 3: At Miami, rookie Josh Johnson allowed one unearned run in six innings, and Florida beat Atlanta to end its streak of 11 consecutive home losses.

Reds 9, Nationals 6: At Cincinnati, ex-Washington State player Scott Hatteberg hit a bases-loaded, two-run double in the eighth to defeat Washington.

Diamondbacks 7, Pirates 4: At Pittsburgh, Chad Tracy had four hits and Arizona beat the Pirates.

Cardinals 7, Rockies 4: At St. Louis, Albert Pujols hit his major league-leading 18th homer to lead the Cardinals over Colorado.
