Tina Mason reported Monday the $1,130 theft of a backpack containing Xbox and PlayStation game systems, video games, DVDs, compact discs, a cell phone charger and other items from her home in the 1600 block of East Stiner Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Gordon Guyett, Hayden, reported Monday the $1,260 theft of VHS and DVD movies from his home in the 9700 block of North Ptarmigan Drive.

Connie Anderson, employee of Thomas Heating and Plumbing, reported Monday the $5,000 theft of hand and power tools and $20 damage to the hinges of a utility trailer at a work site in the 9600 block of West Nova Lane.

Andrew Turner reported Monday the $637 theft of a paddle boat, binoculars, wine and a propane torch from a home in the 23000 block of North Bridge Lake Road.

Melinda Whipple, St. Maries, reported Monday the $300 theft of frozen food from her home in the 8800 block of East Soaring Hawk Lane.
