Here are some new cooking-related items to be on the lookout for:

“Land O’Lakes butter company has created a new half-stick size. Each half stick measures 1/4 cup.

“Crisco has developed a new nozzle for its baking spray. The product has a “click and go” nozzle that works with a very light twist and touch. The nozzle also is broader than standard nozzles, which produces a broader spray area and was designed to prevent the nozzle from breaking or gumming up.

“Deer Park Spring Water has created a water bottle with a twist top that eliminates that pesky search for the cap after you have opened the bottle. The top twists to open and can be closed back after you’ve had your sip.

Sun Maid Girl gets makeover

The face that has smiled from the boxes of Sun-Maid raisins for 90 years recently got a digital makeover.

The image is also going to an animated form on TV commercials and a nationwide publicity campaign. For recipes and more information, visit sunmaid.com.
