Festival at Sandpoint lineup set

From Staff Reports The Spokesman-Review

Surf’s up at this year’s Festival at Sandpoint.

Dick Dale, the legendary “King of the Surf Guitar,” helps anchor an eclectic lineup for the Aug. 3-13 festival that ranges from former country wunderkind Tanya Tucker to progressive bluegrass band Nickel Creek to blues queen Etta James – plus, of course, the Spokane Symphony.

All concerts are at Sandpoint’s Memorial Field. Tickets go on sale starting today at the festival office in the Old Power House, 120 E. Lake St. in Sandpoint; through the festival at (208) 265-4554, (888) 265-4554 or www.festivalatsandpoint.com; or through TicketsWest outlets (509-325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com).
