Harrington appreciates Dolphins’ approach
Joey Harrington believes the tough times in Detroit made him better. He cannot wait to begin proving that to the Miami Dolphins.
Not even a full week removed from the long-awaited trade that brought him to South Florida, the former Lions quarterback is already learning new plays and systems – and likes what he’s seen and heard so far.
“It is honestly a complete fresh slate, and I love it,” Harrington said Thursday at the Dolphins’ practice facility in Davie, Fla.
Because of the uncertain status of Daunte Culpepper, who is recovering from a severe knee injury, there’s a possibility Harrington could be Miami’s starter when the regular season begins at Pittsburgh.
