Mets 4, Yankees 3: Carlos Delgado and David Wright hit consecutive home runs and Billy Wagner bounced back to earn the save as the Mets beat the visiting Yankees.

Nationals 3, Orioles 1: Livan Hernandez snapped a seven-start winless streak, leading host Washington past Baltimore.

Indians 3, Pirates 2 (10): Grady Sizemore singled home the winning run with two outs in the 10th inning to give Bob Wickman his first win in nearly four years as Cleveland beat visiting Pittsburgh.

Phillies 10, Red Sox 5: Bobby Abreu drove in five runs and host Philadelphia beat Boston to snap a five-game losing streak.

Cubs 7, White Sox 4: Michael Barrett delivered a game-tying triple and Jacque Jones followed with a two-run homer in the eighth as the Cubs beat the White Sox.

Astros 5, Rangers 0: Taylor Buchholz pitched a five-hitter for his first career shutout as Houston beat visiting Texas.

Giants 6, Athletics 0: Barry Bonds went 2 for 3 with a pair of singles and an intentional walk and Matt Cain pitched a one-hitter in the San Francisco’s victory over Oakland.

Cardinals 10, Royals 3: Albert Pujols homered in his third straight game and St. Louis beat host Kansas City.

Dodgers 7, Angels 0: Derek Lowe allowed three hits in seven shutout innings, Andre Ethier hit a three-run homer, and the Dodgers beat the visiting Angels.

Rockies 5, Blue Jays 3: Garrett Atkins drove in three runs with a bases-loaded double and Colorado beat visiting Toronto.

Devil Rays 3, Marlins 0: Scott Kazmir allowed four hits and matched a career-high with 11 strikeouts in eight innings and host Tampa Bay beat Florida.

Brewers 5, Twins 3: Carlos Lee’s two-run double keyed a four-run seventh inning to help host Milwaukee beat Minnesota.
