Pair of Troop 171 Scouts attain Eagle

Jonathan Dennie and Michael Fetch were recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest award given in the Boy Scouts. Both are members of Troop 171 and are seniors at Shadle Park High School. Dennie, the son of Lewis and Sue Dennie of Spokane, completed landscaping at the Spokane Humane Society for his project. Fetch, the son of Tracy and Gena Fetch of Spokane, landscaped a courtyard at the Sinto Senior Activity Center for his project.

Jordan Gainey, a 2003 graduate of Ferris High School, is the daughter of Brenda and Ronald Gainey of Erie, Colo. She is a junior studying pre-law.

Adrienne Schofhauser, the daughter of Rosemary and Frank Schofhauser of Spokane, is a 2002 graduate of Rowland High School in Rowland, Calif. She is a senior studying English and business.

Jennifer Burke, a 2002 graduate of Gonzaga Prep, is a senior studying Spanish. She is the daughter of Patricia and John Burke of Spokane Valley.

“Air National Guard Airman Mikaela Soulier-Nielsen recently graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. Soulier-Nielsen, a 2005 graduate of Wilbur High School, is the daughter of Janette Soulier of Wilbur.

“Army Pvt. Paul Church Jr. recently graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Church is the son of Ray and Donna Groeper of Addy, Wash.

“Army Pvt. Robert Nickel recently graduated from basic training at Fort Knox, Ky. Nickel, the son of James Nickel of Moses Lake, is a 1995 graduate of Lewis-Clark State College.
