Wheaties will show you what happens when a stray kitten is isolated throughout the formative weeks of life. Momma cats normally teach their babies that it’s wrong to grab with claws and offer gentle bites. A skin infection prohibited Wheaties from having contact with others, so this young gent missed a few lessons in manners. His gorgeous wheat-colored coat was shaved for treatment, but has returned in beautiful condition along with Wheaties’ health. If you have a well-behaved, patient cat who could sign on as a role model, visit Wheaties at the Kootenai Humane Society 11650 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden Lake or call (208) 772-4019 to learn more.
