CCS wins soccer title

The Community Colleges of Spokane women’s soccer team won the NWAACC Championship with a 2-1 win over Walla Walla at Tukwilla, Wash.

This is the first league title for the Sasquatch (23-2). Lindsay Hood scored both goals for CCS and Lauren Nay had one assist.

Nay, who finished with three goals and four assists during the tournament, was named playoff MVP.
