Elite Eight team favored

There’s still time to vote, but the 1998-1999 Gonzaga basketball team is the clear-cut favorite of fans in our online poll.

The ‘98-99 team, which advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Connecticut, collected 40.3 percent of the votes.

The next closest was last year’s team that lost to eventual NCAA finalist UCLA in the Sweet 16. That team, featuring Adam Morrison and J.P. Batista, collected 16.7 percent of the votes.
