Halloween Party – Children ages 3 and up may visit Camp Fire USA’s Camp Dart-Lo for hay rides, a haunted house, games, treats and more at 14000 N. Dartford Drive. Octoberfest – Games for kids, silent auction, bingo, vendors and entertainment to benefit the Has Beens, Gonna Bees and Wanna Bees, which provides help to low-income families at Christmas. Whitworth Writing Rally – Students in preschool through the sixth grade are invited to the 23rd annual event led by author and poet Janet Wong, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 4 at Cowles Auditorium on the Whitworth campus, 300 W.
