Woolridge might play Saturday

The Spokesman-Review

Washington State coach Bill Doba said running back DeMaundray Woolridge will suit up Saturday against Idaho, but will play only if he does well in warm-ups.

The same can’t be said for a quartet of players in the secondary, all of whom will sit out against the Vandals.

Doba confirmed that cornerbacks Don Turner, Markus Dawes and Courtney Williams, as well as safety Michael Willis, will not play because of injuries.

Turner and Dawes are the team’s No. 2 and 3 cornerbacks, forcing a shuffle there.

Williams and Willis are both special teams aces, a loss that has Doba and his staff considering a number of options heading into the game.
