McFadden leads Arkansas

Darren McFadden ran 184 yards, making Mitch Mustain a winner in his first college start and leading Arkansas to a 20-0 victory over Utah State on Saturday night in Fayetteville, Ark.

A larger-than-expected crowd of 69,491 turned out to see local hero Mustain, named the nation’s top prep player last year by Parade magazine.

New Mexico 34, New Mexico State 28: At Las Cruces, N.M., Chris Nelson threw three touchdown passes and the Lobos defense forced five turnovers in the win over the Aggies.
