Ian Johnson rushed for 119 yards and quarterback Jared Zabransky scored a touchdown to give Boise State a 17-10 win over Wyoming on Saturday in Laramie, Wyo.

Cowboys quarterback Jacob Doss threw two interceptions and was sacked four times.

The Broncos (3-0) scored all their points against Wyoming (1-2) in the first half.

After a scoreless third quarter, Wyoming’s Devin Moore broke away in the fourth and appeared to score from 20 yards. The officials ruled Moore didn’t make the end zone, but three plays later Doss made good with a 1-yard run into the end zone, bringing the Cowboys within 17-10.

Wyoming got the ball back later in the fourth quarter, but Doss was intercepted and the Cowboys never got back into the game after that.

Boise State scored both of its touchdowns in the second quarter. First, Zabransky ran in from 6 yards out to give the Broncos a 10-3 lead midway through the period.

About a minute and a half later, a pass from Doss grazed Greg Bolling’s outstretched hands before being intercepted by Quinton Jones, who returned the ball 61 yards for a touchdown.

Each team scored a field goal in the first quarter. Wyoming took a 3-0 lead on a 31-yard kick by Aric Goodman, but the Broncos tied the game late in the quarter on a 23-yard kick by Anthony Montgomery.

Utah 48, Utah State 0: At Logan, Utah, Brett Ratliff passed for three touchdowns and the Utes returned two interceptions for scores to beat the Aggies for the ninth straight time, in the most one-sided game in the history of the state rivalry.

Derrek Richards caught two touchdown passes and backup quarterback Tommy Grady threw his first touchdown pass for the Utes (2-1).

Utah outdid the 1944 Utes, who shut out the Aggies 47-0 in Logan, for the biggest blowout in the series and got the first shutout since Utah won 19-0 in 1990.

Nevada 28, Colorado State 10: At Reno, Nev., Jeff Rowe passed for 210 yards and two touchdowns to help the Wolf Pack beat the Rams.

Rowe completed 19 of 22 passes and had touchdown strikes of 39 yards to Mike McCoy and 11 yards to Brandon Fragger. Robert Hubbard and Luke Lippincott each rushed for a touchdown for the Wolf Pack (1-2), who beat the Rams for the first time. The Wolf Pack had been 0-7 against the Rams.

The Wolf Pack held the Rams (2-1) to 64 yards rushing and sacked Caleb Hanie five times. Hanie completed 14 of 25 passes for 113 yards and was intercepted twice.

They jumped to a 14-0 lead in the first half. Hubbard scored on a 1-yard run with 7:48 left in the first quarter, and Lippincott plunged in from 2 yards out with 14:54 left in the second.

The Rams defense kept it close, forcing a couple of turnovers, but the offense failed to convert.
