Indians win at the gate
Once again, the Spokane Indians attracted the most fans in the Northwest League.
Despite having the NWL’s worst record (26-50), the Indians increased their league-leading attendance mark of a year ago by averaging 4,792 fans a game.
Brooklyn (New York-Penn) was tops among short-season Class A teams with 289,323. Here is how NWL teams did at the gate in 2006:
