Kaylin Meredith had 14 kills and six blocks to lead Lake City (5-1) to a 25-22, 25-19, 25-19 win over Lewiston (5-2) in Inland Empire League volleyball action Tuesday in Coeur d’Alene.

Caitlin Crimp had 27 assists and Riki Moreland added five aces for the Timberwolves, who took over first place in the Inland Empire League standings.

Also in the IEL, Katie Rosner had 25 digs and four aces as host Coeur d’Alene (3-2) beat Moscow (1-3) 25-18, 25-19, 25-21. Natalie Stewart had 22 assists and Kama Griffitts had nine kills for the Vikings. … Brooke Demers had five aces, two blocks and seven kills to lead visiting Sandpoint (3-2) to a 25-22, 24-26, 25-17, 25-13 win over Post Falls (1-4). Cocoa James added 15 assists for the Bulldogs.

Lacy Hopkins had 10 kills and 16 assists to lead host Priest River (1-2) to a 25-20, 22-25, 25-12, 25-18 win over Bonners Ferry (0-3) in Intermountain League action.

Cara Hayman had 33 assists and 15 digs to lead Wallace (4-0) to a 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, 27-25 win over the Coeur d’Alene Charter Panthers (1-2) in North Star League action in Wallace. Lisa Carver had 15 kills and Krista Williams added five blocks for the Miners. Katie Baker led Coeur d’Alene Charter with 14 kills and Shea McHugh added 13 assists. … Also in the NSL, Rayna Allen had nine aces to lead Clark Fork to a 25-19, 25-16, 25-9 win over visiting Mullan.
