Hometown: I was born in San Francisco, but we moved to Post Falls from Portland in 1988.

Occupation: Nurse manager, Panhandle Home Health

Family: My husband, Joe, and I have two grown daughters, Leah, who lives in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Anna in Portland.

Hobbies: Running, quilting, golf and tormenting my husband.

What do you like about North Idaho? I love the four seasons, the fact that we have snow at Christmas and it’s warm in summer. I also like the Centennial Trail, the Rathdrum Prairie and Lake Coeur d’Alene.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I’ve disliked the smoky air this summer, but I enjoy going to Green Bluff this season to pick apples.

Favorite music: I enjoy a wide range of music, from Shakira to Vivaldi.

Favorite TV show: It’s hard to pick just one. I’d have to say I enjoy Bill Maher, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Entourage.”

Favorite movie: Several, including “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” “Moonstruck” and “Sideways.”
